Gaia was such a pleasure to work with and get to know! We started off our meeting with her showing me some of her artwork, and to say she is a very talented artist is an understatement. I was blown away by her work! Then we went through her various wardrobe options and I loved the variety of looks she brought and we squeezed in as many different outfits as we possibly could into her session. 

She wanted something a little different for her senior portraits so I took a more edgy, fashion forward, approach to photographing her. We had so much fun walking around downtown Denver during this very windy evening!

What is your personal style?
I love 90s style a lot, but I also like to look androgynous. Kpop also influences some of the things I wear. Mostly black though... you can't go wrong! (I completely agree! Most of my wardrobe is black!) 

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I am an artist and a novice storyteller. I like to spend my time improving myself in my art and writing. My goal is to one day publish a graphic novel.

What type of music do you like? What are some of your favorite Bands / Singers?
I am a huge fan of rock and some electronic rock/alternative bands. Some artists I like are Unlike Pluto, Jon Bellion, and Queens of the Stone Age. I really listen to just about anything though, anywhere from Heathers the Musical to Nirvana. I am also a huge nerd and LOVE soundtrack music.

What is your favorite book and/or tv shows?
My favorite genre is Horror, So I am a big fan of the Cirque du Freak book series and anything Stephen King. As for TV shows I love TWD and Arrested Development (Yes not horror but still very uncomfortable,) And my favorite movies to watch are horror movies and anything comic book related.

Your all time favorite movie is?
I love The Ring! ... But I just recently watched the Shape of a Voice and it was amazing!

What is your favorite snack?
Sushi!

What is your dream vacation?
I'd like to go to Seoul or Japan. I love big cities and I would love to immerse myself in a new culture. (And amazing street fashion!)

Are you involved in any school clubs or sports?
I played basketball for three years and am active in the art club.

What is your best High School Memory?
Probably when I helped one of my dear friends prompose to his crush... there were tears, it was great!

What's something your people may not know about you?
That I no longer believe that wishes come true. I wished so badly to be a mermaid when I was four and it never came true. I was crushed.

What are your future plans/goals?
I want to be an art teacher and publish my own graphic novel series.
